One resource, infinite uses

Early Childhood Educators often find inspiration for open ended activities in the most random of places, but it is these finds which create wonderful learning opportunities.

Over the years, I have moved house many times and it was during one such move that I discovered such a simple resource that I have used time and time again to promote collaboration, creativity, communication and problem-solving. It is a twist on the old classic and has never failed to promote lots of creativity, discussion, enthusiasm and planning - not to mention hours upon hours of role play and learning experiences.

You can purchase it brand new for about $17 dollars (a budget any centre or parent can stretch to) or scout around for a second hand one.
