Together, we form an author-illustrator duo and provide insight into the world of books, publishing and doing something we believe in.
We LOVE taking Rainbow Hopping Bug into Schools and Childcare Services because they feel like a second home to us. Having the opportunity to chat with the children, listen to their experiences and share the wonders of story telling and illustrating really is an absolute gift to us.
Over the past 18 months, we had the pleasure of hosting many book visits in person and via Zoom. In addition to early childhood and primary school settings, we have also been invited into Libraries and Corporates - and we have enjoyed every second of it.

How long are our book visits?
It really depends on the age of the children. For younger, preschool audiences, we recommend 45-60 minutes. For older primary school children an hour is perfect. We can adapt our activities to fit your audience’s needs.

What does a book visit involve?
We have lots of activities we have developed to suite preschool and school age children, including book readings, games, creative collaborations, singing, drawing lessons, live illustrations and behind the scenes of book publishing.
Where do we visit?
Early Childhood Education services (centre based and Family Day Care), Primary Schools, Libraries (for story and craft time), Seminars, Corporate (for Family Fun Days)
